Attention all skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders: A new outdoor skatepark is coming to the Magna Centre and the Town of Newmarket wants your input on its design.
The community is invited to share their ideas in an online survey about the features and design of a new skatepark slated to be built at the Mulock Drive community centre.
Would you like the skatepark to have a variety of ramps, ledges, steps, and rails? How about what it could look like? The large Algoport skatepark in Port Colborne, ON, for example, is designed to look like a ship.
Given that the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped in-person consultations, you can share your views and feedback in the first step of the design process in an online survey.
