Update:
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is reminding the public that the online application process for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit begins Monday, April 6.
Canadians opting for direct deposit can expect funds within 3-5 days, while those opting to have their cheques mailed will receive funds within 10 days.
Trudeau says Canada will continue to engage with U.S. administration regarding U.S. president Donald Trump's order to 3M to stop the export of N95 masks.

Trudeau expects to speak with Trump directly in the "coming days."
The prime minister also announced a call for volunteers from Health Canada in an effort to establish a national database of volunteers for case tracking and contact tracing, health system surge capacity, and case data collection.
