NewmarketToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre, brings you this regular feature highlighting a special pet in need of adoption.
Already dressed for the occasion, Tuxedo has been patiently waiting for his forever date night friend. Would you stand up this handsome 13-year-old boy in his black tux with a matching white bib and shoes?
Tuxedo is a 17-lb., very affectionate, black and white, short-haired cat. He was surrendered to the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education and Animal Centre (PEAC) when his previous owner was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and could no longer love him in the way Tux needs.
Not only is he looking for a human companion, but he also enjoys the company of other cats. He’s no shy guy! At the Ontario SPCA, you can find Tuxedo out relaxing on a perch or mingling with his furry roommates.
Tuxedo has hyperthyroidism, but it’s easily maintained with medication once a day. He loves to take his pill in a pill pocket or wrapped inside a treat. Tux would need to come back to the Ontario SPCA for one last visit to make sure his medication is working just as it should.
Come by today to meet Tuxedo. He’s dressed in his best to find his forever match. Don’t stand him up.
