NewmarketToday's local reporters, along with the Trillium team at Queen's Park, will provide coverage throughout the day as voters in Newmarket-Aurora head to the polls for the provincial election.
You'll find regularly updated stories as the news happens on the NewmarketToday.ca home page, and you can also visit our special provincial election section, which features the latest news, as well as candidate profiles and information, the issues and party platforms, and a poll tracker.
You'll also find links there to determine in which riding you reside and where you can vote in your community.
You can vote in person today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at your assigned voting location based on your home address.
When you arrive at a voting location, you will be asked to show your ID to an election official, who will check if you are on the voters list.
The election official will issue you a ballot, which you will mark behind a voting screen. To vote for your chosen candidate, mark an X in the circle beside their name, and return the completed ballot to the box.
Following election day, we'll share highlights and assess the impact of the results.
