An Ajax man has been charged in connection to a shooting last month in Markham.
On March 10 at about 3:45 a.m., police responded to a report of gunshots in a plaza parking lot near Kirkham Drive and New Delhi Drive. A male was suffering from a gunshot and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, a warrant was executed at a residence in Ajax. Roshvin Crofton, 22, has been charged with pointing a firearm, robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, motor vehicle theft, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for three more suspects. A video showing the suspects can be seen here.
