An employee at Nature's Emporium in Newmarket has tested positive for COVID-19.
The "team member", who last worked Tuesday, Feb. 23, received confirmation of the virus case on March 2, according to president and co-founder Joe D'Addario on the Nature’s Emporium website.
The employee is at home recovering, he said.
"Any employees who were in close contact with the affected team member have been sent home to quarantine and monitor symptoms. The Newmarket location has since been deep-cleaned and professionally sanitized," Addario said.
"Thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time."
