John David Kamin died unexpectedly at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario, at the age of 68.
Son of the late Louisa Kamin (nee Edsall) and Leon J Kamin.
Beloved husband to Heather Willems for over 30 years. Loving father to Sean, Ryan, Nicholas and Grandfather to Liam. Brother to Katie Murphy and loyal nephew to Mary and Thomas Edsall.
John was deeply devoted to his family. With his kind and supportive nature, he prioritized them with pride.
John dedicated his work life to his RCMP-family in Ontario (O) Division for nearly 35-years. A consummate professional and valued colleague to all, with his exceptional skills in operational records management.
He was an avid sports fanatic to Toronto-based clubs and a devoted supporter to the NFL Dallas Cowboy football club. John passionately supported his teams and never passed up the opportunity to discuss the latest games in detail.
John succumbed unexpectedly after a recent diagnosis of cancer. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and work colleagues.
A celebration of life for John will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at Grace Church, located at 221 Carlson Drive, Newmarket, Ontario, at 11:00 am.
All are welcome, lunch to follow the celebration.
